Have you ever considered The Bible as a living and breathing work of art, much like a garden? I tend to My Beloved Bible as lovingly as I tend to my garden!
When I open My Beloved Bible, I have within reach the implements used for underlining, highlighting, searching and commenting in the margins, kind of like the trowel, spade, weed-digger and fertilizer which are used for my garden.
Great post from Bee reminding us that God's Word is living!
LOL, I sometimes think that I really need to start using one of my others but then I start to think how much I would miss all of what I have in this one!
Oh, so true. Someone recently told me she needed a new one but would simply have to copy all of her notes and highlighted places and so forth, and so I’m thinking duct tape as needed and hold onto it tight! Funny how we all have many and mostly use the one “go to” isn’t it?
just amazing
Thanks.
Dearest Martha,
Thank you so much for honoring me by reblogging my post! You are a blessing to me…and so many others.
God bless you as you remain in His love.
Bee
Thank you so much. You are so kind to say such things to me. Your post was at once both a wonderful reminder of the “living” Word and a colorful and factual reminder of the condition our favorite Bible winds up in. May He richly bless you, Martha
