Negative emotions,
those often unpredictable
elements within us which battle for control
and are found lying in wait for
a weak moment
when they can attempt to
deny the truth
which also lives within us.
Their loud angry voices attempt
to drown out the sweet music
that coexists deep in the soul.
Its joy and hope and peace
do not need to shout.
Truth comes softly
like a kiss.
My wounded soul
rejoices.

Thank you! My morning devotional this morning told me to look for my joy and to continue looking until I find it for He is within me. I needed His help to find it, but I did.
Oh my gosh I forgot to mail to you again today. But I have to believe God is all about timing.
Well, I mentioned that in my email to you but when you read the post from a while ago about the child who was nearly killed . . . I am still shaking over His timing in my life. No more whining over His timing.
