Thoreau On Character

You cannot dream yourself into a character: you must hammer and forge yourself into one.  – Henry David Thoreau -

I believe that by surrendering to Christ, we truly are forged into are authentic selves . . . the dream may well be part of the seed of passion He plants, but we must permit the work to be done or it’ll never be more than a dream and perhaps, if we fail to surrender, the passion will simply become a frustration instead.
