It is refreshing to see upbeat and positive words spoken on the differences among us. We were given different gifts by the same giver. This was God’s design and it is perfect!

I appreciate this quote today, as I’ve been “fretting”–and even tempted to run from–the differences I have with folks.

I understand. There are people in the world who decide our nose is the wrong shape or our eyes are too big (mine) or we don’t fit some mold they’ve chosen for us. Why is it easier to try and please them than it is to believe God sees us as beautiful children whom He loves and who made us as we are for a divine purpose? Yet, I too, fight the desire to run . . .
