The Mountain

Love it! We make God so much smaller than He is!

Wordsmith's Desk

Don’t tell God how big your mountain is…

tell the mountain how big your God is.

If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,

‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. “

Matthew 17:20

    • Thanks. I am not doing well just now, but regardless of how I feel I know the Lord has a plan. I had a part time job (finally a job) since Dec but it was nothing but deception and abuse at min wage with few hours and caused me much physical pain which I have yet to heal from. I stayed with it and took the abuse because I felt the Lord had a plan for me there. As the situation grew worse and much prayer, He permitted me to leave the job last week and I am trying to rest and heal and focus on Him and not my worries for health and provision. We are having a week of rain so this is not helping me to surrender but as I sat with my foot up and tried to pray and not feel so frustrated by the forced idleness this normally busy person is dealing with, I realized that weather or not, a bird was singing in the tree by my window . . . the tiny voice of hope.

    • Thank you. My prayer is for Him to allow and enable me to have the provision I need while living the passion He planted in my soul. I cannot see how to do so, but He can. Time is critical financially or so it seems. Still, I have believed for some time He has healing and other surprising things in store for me. I simply do not understand His timing.
