45 Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.46 After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.
47 Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land.
Prayer is so important for us in our earthly walk with Christ yet I for one find it difficult, sometimes, to “fit in” with all the requirements of my day. Why is that? Do you find it that way to sometimes?
Life is not easy whether I admit it or boldly deny it yet the more intimate my relationship with Christ is, the more I not simply need my alone time with Him but hunger for it.
The passage from the Gospel of Mark beautifully shows the importance of this by reminding us that Jesus, in His earthly walk, needed it too! So, my friends, it is TFMJ! That is:
