Little flower,
petals swaying in the breeze,
bows her head
as rain comes.
Then she looks to the sun
in joyful thanks!

I needed this today. We just found out my mom’s house was in the flooding in Baton Rouge and may be a complete loss with no insurance. Need to find meaning and gratitude in all this.

Oh, Keith! I am so glad you were led to it and so sorry for your family’s suffering! We often struggle to find meaning and even with a faithful heart cannot always see it. You are all in my prayers and know that the Lord is loving you through this!
