HOPE’S MORNING RAYS

The house is quiet.

It is early morning

And the moon is handing the reins to the sun.

The illusion of darkness fades

As the breath of a new day

Fills my heart and soul.

“Good Morning” Hope seems to say.

I rise.

The Vision

YES! Praising Him with you, brother!

The Psalmist

Soaring

High above the earth

I’m soaring

Flying through the clouds

I’m soaring

Looking down at earth below

Hoping

By faith I ask the Lord

I’m hoping

That we can make a change

I’m hoping

Love will conquer all our fears

And then I see a fountain

A fountain filled with joy

Springing up all over

From within the saints of God

And then I see a river

A river filled with peace

Flowing ‘cross the landscape

Centered where the joy had been

They flowed into an ocean

An ocean labeled love

Eventually this ocean

Touched the nations all around

Wond’ring

Could this really be

I’m wond’ring

If the saints of God can yield

I’m wond’ring

If the vision I have seen can come

Hearing

The voice of God declare

I’m hearing

My son this can come true

I’m hearing

When all my children heed my word

I drop…

Don’t Say HOW, Say I AM YOURS!

WHAT IS FAITH?

When you hold a balloon in the palm of your hand it is a tiny small thing. Seems unlikely that if I toss it from my bedroom window that it could drench my kid sisters with water, yet when used, that balloon becomes “enough” to serve my purpose . . . faith is like that.

I find myself praying for more faith yet last night when the question “what is faith” was asked at study group, the Spirit spoke to me saying “Faith is trust in action.” Like that small balloon, my small bit of faith “is enough” for Jesus to use for His purpose . . . if I trust Him. Martha L Shaw
