PUBLISHED AUTHORS SHARE EXPERIENCE HERE

Many of us, myself included, are in the process of completing a manuscript and seeking a publisher.  In my case the book will be inspirational Christian poetry.   Whether your book was self published or traditionally done, please share!  If you are new to this, please share!  FOR MANY IT IS THE FIRST TIME!  Your comments mean a lot!  DON’T FORGET TO SHARE YOUR LINK TO YOUR BLOG!  New followers want to find you!

    I am looking at CREATSPACE and WestBow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson and Zondervan at present. YOUR THOUGHTS?

      I read that Westbow is more interested in selling their product than in marketing yours (i.e. your book). I went with Christian Faith publishing; they’re a hybrid. You pay a fee but they are selective in what books they publish and then they do a marketing campaign for you as well. Also they don’t take royalties until your investment cost is recouped.     I attended a Christian writers conference today and will go again tomorrow. I highly encourage others to attend this type of conference at least once. I am gathering so much valuable information from published authors.
