A HAIKU ON FORGIVENESS

Loved the haiku – but especially enjoyed the photo you chose to accompany it – very ‘not in Kansas anymore’ 🙂
And NOW, I’m turning off the computer and getting myself and my pup ready to walk down the street to our Cheers bar (where everybody knows my dog’s name) – for their Earth Day Patio Party.
Happy Earth Day – may we *all* band together to inspire our “leaders” who are not NEARLY concerned enough about the fate of this marble of a planet we share. After all, once we’ve trashed it, where are we going to live?

Oh yes, your pup would have loved it. There were several dogs at the party – and two firepits – and a band that was so loud it reminded me of a frat party. 🙂
Tink and I had a ball. He got lots of attention from the college kids missing their dogs back home, and I met some fascinating new people (and, despite the fact that it went on until 2AM, I only had two drinks all evening, so no hangover dues to pay,)
