The Bible illustrates much that is vital using sheep but I am not a shepherdess; I take care of Scrappy and she loves and cares for me! A dog’s life is generally simple if she is a pet. Not unlike perhaps a sheep but I believe dogs know love . . . and I have learned and felt the Love of the Lord through my pet. The photo here looks like prayer time to me. Who can say otherwise? Our God is Mighty and blesses us through ALL creation . . . love is patient, love is kind . . . and sometmes love has fur!
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 1 Corinthians 13:4
I agree with you Martha. My two dogs were the unconditional love of Jesus to me when I walked through my divorce. Everyday they accepted me when I felt totally unacceptable.

I believe, too, Martha, that sometimes God’s love is in fur. He knows how much I’ve been blessed over the years to care for one of the “least” (because we know they’re not) of these.
Blessings!
