This is harder than it sounds:
Your purpose in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it. – Gautama Buddha
The challenge is to hold to your God-given purpose and devotion to Him when those around you, far and near, have an entirely different purpose in mind for you.
They may come around and they may not. We must focus on our divinely given purpose, though. It will be difficult, but God’s will is perfect. Persevere, knowing He is with you. I know very personally how much the hands will shake and the legs and feet wobble at the need to do so when those you love and admire see things differently. Those “in the know” didn’t think much of Jesus’ purpose either. They, in fact, hung Him for it. The result? Our eternal life with Him.

Giving brings happiness at every stage of its expression. Buddha
Wow, this quote is so true. I just heard an amazing sermon on giving. It reminded me of the ways in which we can give, of the pain in not giving . . . a pain felt not by the one who didn’t receive from me, but by me for having held back.
Giving – there’s always a way . . .
So many ways to bring joy . . .
to reflect light!

Don’t be held back by all the “shoulda” and “coulda” and “oughta” thoughts that try to invade you. The Lord is with you in the present and He uses all of it for your good and the greater good of the Kingdom! Shine on!
What you are is what you have been. What you’ll be is what you do now.

Think about this. It seems we are constantly blessed and yet we do not even know it.
If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.

The way is not in the sky, the way is in the heart. – Gautama Buddha
Regardless of your own beliefs you SURELY will find the quote above quite profound! For me, a Christian, there is no disputing what Buddha has said. Jesus lives in my heart and He is THE WAY.
