CLAY IN HIS HANDS

July 29, 2019

A pot made of clay

by skilled hands . . .

we, too, are thus made

by the Creator God’s hands.

So many types of clay,

so many types of pots,

the Lord GOD lovingly made us all.

They come in different colors, strengths,

yet,

all have value,

all made with equal amounts of love.

Sadly, more importance is placed

on global warming,

than human life.

News broadcasted multi times daily

speaks more of “another” shooting.

than a “tragic” one.

Is there a right or wrong side of the street??

a right or wrong skin color??

We were created with immeasurable love, all of us.

Will we ever put the guns down?

CHANGE, GROW, REJOICE

July 20, 2019

Wings in flight . . . the traveller sings,

Leaves on the now empty branch dance.

and the song grows further away.

Seasons change.

New gifts are given.

New songs are sung!

IN THE BEGINNING . . .

July 18, 2019

I know nothing in the world that has as much power as a word. Sometimes I write one, and I look at it, until it begins to shine.- Emily Dickinson –

Well, Emily Dickinson missed a lot! Our beloved Creator made all and yes, indeed, from birth all shone and reflected His SPLENDOR! – Martha Shaw

LIFE IS GOOD!

June 14, 2019

I climbed up a tree.

Just one bird was welcoming.

Truly a great start!

Branch Out!

June 11, 2019

If a tree were to resist

shedding her colorful autumn leaves,

when would come spring?

When would come summer?

If we resist change

we cannot question why

we do not grow.

Do not choose death – choose life!

CREATED WITH A SPECIAL PURPOSE!

June 10, 2019

Perspective

A wee one picked a pretty flower

and gave it to her Mom.

Everyone around her smiled with joy.

She grew older and was taught

a dandelion was “just a weed”

but did the flower really change

when the eyes of her heart

were closed?

She grew up

and made them into

such delicious wine!

How eye opening!
