WHEN WILL WE LEARN?
WRATH DOES NOT HEAL WRATH!
BIGGER GUNS ONLY MAKE BIGGER HOLES!
PRAY, LISTEN, FOLLOW!

A voice from the next room called out in a loud voice “I be knackered!” Quite frankly, I was not sure whether to run for cover or to run for covers!

. . . because life was not meant to be just black and white!
Our individuality was meant for blessing, not distressing!

We fix one symptom, pat ourselves on the back, put our feet up, and nap . . . never facing up to the REAL problem. Why, then, do we complain that “nothing ever changes” and “nobody cares!”

All too often I find this word to be avoided, to be considered negative, to be considered “here comes trouble!” My response to this truth was “here comes another positive word gone NEGATIVE, what a pity!”
I looked acceptance up in the dictionary and found that a primary defining word was “favor.” WOW!
The following blessing has been bestowed upon me many times, and I quote it from the BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER:
“The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord’s face shine on you with grace and mercy.
The Lord look upon you with favor
and give you peace. AMEN“
My friends, acceptance is a REALLY BIG DEAL and I am sorry to say we as a culture are not very good at it. We need to do better!

Depending on your faith or denomination, this might not be completely familiar, but ,I was thinking of Mom at church yesterday and recalled her telling me that as a tiny girl she would march around the house holding an upside down broom and pretend to be the crucifer at church.
So, later in the service, as we sung the Doxology and got to the words “praise Him all creatures here below” I remembered myself as a wee one singing the same words with one tiny mistake. I misunderstood and heard them say “preacher” rather than “creature” AND GOT MAD! I decided they were NOT going to tell me only PREACHERS could praise Him. I WAS GOING TO AS WELL! lol
It should not surprise anyone that both of us have, in our own ways, felt called to forms of ministry from a very young age.
