HOW TO MAKE A BAD DAY GOOD

FIND A REASON TO REJOICE TODAY!

NOT AS HARD AS YOU THINK!

 

I get stressed, especially when I multitask and demand too much from myself!  The Lord doesn’t give us more than we can handle – we do!

• Take a praise break!   Can’t thiink of anything good about your day?
• relax your muscles
• breath deeply
• close your eyes
• say “Lord, thanks for loving me!”
• repeat until chest tightness relaxes
• REJOICE!

 

 

 

DANCING

There is something so restful

about a rainy day!

My worries are washed away

and whether they return

or not

I REALLY COULDN’T SAY!

The music of the droplets

beckon me along

for I cannot simply sit!

Refreshed,

I must dance to their song!

My body may be broken,

But my heart and soul

Are still dancing.

I am my heart and soul!

Just Dance!

I saw the others in the room

dancing to a tune I could not hear.

I stood aside,

I watched and sighed.

Wishing,

Wondering,

They seemed to share a joy

I didn’t know.

They seemed to know a love

I didn’t feel.

I waited in lonely silence.

Then, I could wait no more.

With awkward steps

I left my hiding place

And followed.

At first my steps

Were slow and few

But then it happened!

I began to hear the music, too!

The more I danced,

The less I considered my shaky feet

For I had found something else.

I discovered joy!
