SOMETIMES “NOTHING” IS EVERYTHING
April 12, 2017I wanted to give the right gift,
the perfect one.
I had little money
and few skills.
IT NEEDED TO BE PERFECT!
I grew more and more disappointed.
Eventually,
with tears in my eyes
and empty hands,
I threw myself to the ground
and cried out
“I love you!”
He was pleased.
