Praising God for theGift of a New Day

 

It’s been raining long and hard

And gray skies were all I could see.

But today is different,

Or perhaps I am,

For I see a bright spot

Glowing through the

Clouds of morning.

I shall dance!

Dancing with the raindrops

And celebrating the sun

Am I

For today is

A new day

And the Lord has blessed it!

WE ARE FAMILY!

Scrappy and I had lunch in our screened porch amid birds singing, a gentle breeze, blue skies viewed between leaf filled branches and the wonderful sound I love to hear – the sound of a saw cuttng wood! The sound and smell is life giving to me and perfume to my soul! Daddy was so skilled at EVERYTHING since if he didn’t know, he self-taught and worked with perfection. Sadly the last 15 years of his life were spent sedentary due to Parkinsons. Lord, heal me and or show me the way to shine and to make my parents proud for the 3 of us!  We love you and hunger to serve with the treasure you bestowed!

AN UNEXPECTED GIFT!

When The Storm Passes . . .

The threat of a storm lasted long, but now that the storm is over it seems as though it was quite brief.  How often do we find this to be true?  After it has gone, the beauty in its wake seems brighter than ever before  . . .

Here are some photographs taken after other storms have gone.  It seems there is a message in their beauty.
