When I was a child I never hesitated to run to my Daddy when I needed him, whether I had skinned my knee, was scared by a bug,you name it. I never stopped to wonder if I was a good enough girl, was my problem big enough … I knew his love was more than big enough no matter what I did or didn’t do. GOD WANTS US TO RUN INTO HIS ARMS THAT SAME WAY!

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

You were always there for me
Loving,
Guiding,
Protecting me
And yet,
I took you for granted
Until one day.
I looked deep into your eyes
And you looked to my heart
And I gave it to you.
Then,
I was reborn!

How deep is the sky?
Ah blue . . . the color of trust.
Everlasting love!

You created us as unique creatures with a purpose. Sadly, instead of giving yoou glory for this and learning from one another, we listen to the evil one and behave wickedly! Help us to reflect Your love and behave as one mutually supportive body in you as you intended and please forgive us for our failings, In Jesus’ holy name. Amen

Just as a mother bird broods
to protect her young . . .
giving them warmth,
safety,
covered with her love,
and when the time comes
sets them free
to do as they were created to do . . .
so, too, does our Creator God
love and protect us
in the shelter of His wings.
We may not see Him,
but His love, power, and grace
are with us always.

When I was a child,
I was more curious
than fearful of the
“scary” monsters lurking under the bed.
No, not me . . .
What would scare me,
and break my heart
would be to have to live
one day . . . or one second
without your mighty presense
and your amazing love!

I was certain the day was coming!
But kept waking up without
feeling deflated
for a gift belated.
Would it never come at all?
A few days . . .
months . . .
years . . .
then it happened “overnight!”
My gift of grace,
more than I ever dreamed of
and surely did not deserve
came to me
at just the right time!
I am forever thankful!
