We cannot have shadows in the darkness.

So, if you see one on a rainy day,

and you cannot find the sun,

that sunny brightness

MUST be reflected from you!

You are blessed!

Be a blessing to others!

October 22, 2012

Okay, I know it’s not Sunday but I’ve been busy and fallen behind on my reading so I just discovered Caddo’s New Treat called “Caddo’s Seven Word Sundays” and I couldn’t wait to play along.  Click the link and read up on her inspiring idea and snag a copy of the button.  Please link it to her blog so others can realize how wonderful she is.   Dear Sis Caddo has a delightful blog.  If you’ve not discovered her poetry and her heart-felt writing, do click here and visit often.

The After Party – A Poem

October 5, 2012

The music has faded

And I have slipped off my dancing shoes.

My hair is astray,

My gown cast aside,

My hands held out

Remembering your touch.

All is quiet

And I wonder where you’ve gone . . .

Then from within

I feel your warmth . . .

I look up and you are here.

Perhaps, waiting for me

To notice.

Happy Saturday Morning Inspiring Quote!

September 15, 2012

To think creatively, we must be able to look afresh at what we normally take for granted – George Kneller –

I definitely thank the Lord for the fact that my inner artist sees things I might otherwise have missed, but not nearly as often as I should.  As I reread it, I realized that to look about me with new eyes is also my commission as a Christian.  Time to see what I’ve been missing!  Good morning, y’all!

For whatever was written was given to us for our learning, that through patience and comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4)
