Day three . . . will the rain EVER stop?

My mood was falling like the steady drops of rain

So I stepped outside.

I looked up at the clouds

Intending to share

a piece of my mind!

Instead,

The cooling, cleansing drops had their way

And I laughed

Then pounced in the nearest puddle!

I was young again!

FREE YOUR INNER CHILD

When I was a child,

it did not really matter

that the carrot I pulled from the ground to eat

still had soil on it,

nor that I’d wiped the rest on my shirt.

The choice, there was none . . .

Focus on the carrot or on the dirt?

I woke up feeling joyful

I feel sorry for them.
