NEW ENGLAND IN WINTER

January 28, 2019

This image was taken by me in the home I used to live in.  Winter was steadily providing snow and I was stronger then and loved to go out in the middle of the night to shovel as I was a banker then and needed to get to my office.  The moonlight reflected on the new fallen snow glowed  so my yard lookedlike midday.  There were always neighbors out doing the saame thing as me.  We often had PJs on with storm wear.  I can still feel the warmth of those times in my life!

BE A BELIEVER!

August 26, 2018

We are human!  We fall short, we grow impatient, we begin to consider “what if . . .”  Take it to the Lordand be washed in His grace and know His amazing love!

Hope NOT Misspent

The clouds lingered long.

Will the light never return?

The dampness of my tears,

The ache in my limbs,

The longing for something more . . .

All forgotten in an instant

As my gaze found the sun!

. . . And the sheep know His voice!

August 3, 2018

The Lord spoke to my soul!

He often lovingly whispers, but this time He called out victoriously to my soul and this was His message which I must share!

holding hands

SHINE

Get up and dance!

Do you not hear the glad sound?

Have you not seen the sun?

Is the splendor of this day lost to you?

Place your feet on the floor!

Lift your hands!

As the trumpet sounds

Sail across the floor in harmony with me!

Dance, clap, sing, share!

I am yours!

You are mine!

Is this not cause to celebrate?

SHINE!

LOVE IS GENTLE – LOVE IS . . . FIERCE?

August 1, 2018

How fierce is His love?  Remember David and Goliath!  He will do the same for YOU!

PLANT THE SEEDS OF LOVE

June 26, 2018

We are unique!

This was no accident!

How could the garden be

nearly so beautiful

if the Gardener planted

only one type of seed!

Don’t seek vengeance. Don’t bear a grudge;

but love your neighbor as yourself, for I am Jehovah.

BETTY’S HEART

November 7, 2017

betty carol

There are really none like my late friend Betty, pictured here on the right with her Mom on the left.  Her heart?  Prime example!  THE MOUSE!  If I met one in my house we are sure to find I freaked out and left town until it met its demise!  Not Betty!  She found one in the attic, thought it was SOOOOO cute, and fixed up a hamster cage for it.  It became family!

With a loving heart like that, can you imagine what a blessing she was to humans?

Leviticus 19:18

18 “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

MY MISSION

November 3, 2017

Who is my neighbor?

She is the universe . . . ‘My quest, my duty?

To love her,

To protect her,

To encourage her,

To bless her Creator!

ARE YOU A CARROT OR A PEA?

March 20, 2017

Grocery shopping can be vexing.

In order to obtain what we need, to meet health restructions, etc., we must read every label, hope for full and clear disclosure, yet still discover we have not seen enough to judge.

WHY then, knowing only God can know a human heart, do we persist in placing a label on one another?

DO YOU SEE SILVER LININGS? I DO!

January 20, 2017

When I was a child, I loved laying in the grass looking up at the sky . . . I thought of who else, in some distant place, might be sharing it with me.  Birds flew about tweeting and I wondered what they said..  When clouds came in, I thought not of potential storms but of the interesting shapes . . . “that one looks like a bear!”  Even when it rained, I loved watching the droplets bounce off surfaces looking like tiny mirrors reflecting a world that fascinated me.

CULTURALLY SPEAKING-Let’s Learn ACCEPTANCE!

November 29, 2016

Seems interesting to me that the same word used to define “quality in a person” is also used in defining bacteria . . . there is a message in this!

Corporate Culture 492

*Yes, the culture bug has bitten me so expect more on this!
