Thank You Father!

To an impatient gardener

a slowly blooming seed

is a frustration!

But the Master Gardener

stays very near

and nourishes with food,

encouragement,

and love

and He is filled with joy

when the blossom comes to life!

God’s Grace

July 20, 2016

We pray

We get wrapped up in our request,

we wonder when the answer will come.

Suddenly,

our larder flows with milk and honey.

Our response all too often?

“I asked for a drink of Water!”

He forgives,

He loves,

He provides,

always.

When We Wait

May 21, 2016

I heard you sing.

Twas more a plaintive cry.

The sun dipped behind a cloud at the tone,

But,

Still you sang on.

Suddenly,

A second voice joined in

And her high pitched joy

Made for a beautiful duet!

I’m Blooming! I’m Blooming! Quote For Today

September 26, 2013
As long as we are persistence in our pursuit of our deepest destiny, we will continue to grow. We cannot choose the day or time when we will fully bloom. It happens in its own time. - Denis Waitley -

Tuesday’s Topic? A Bible Verse For Patience

September 25, 2012

Wow, I know better, but I still find myself questioning God’s will.  Oh, not intentionally, yet the season I am in seems long and sometimes I am parched and weary.  Here’s a verse of encouragement for all of us:

“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Hebrews 10:35-36 NIV1984
