We cannot have shadows in the darkness.
So, if you see one on a rainy day,
and you cannot find the sun,
that sunny brightness
MUST be reflected from you!
You are blessed!
Be a blessing to others!

My soul is raining!
Stubborn sun, why must you shine?
Tears refresh the joy.

We often choose to live behind a mask
in our effort to reduce the pain.
All this really does though
is push away the Sun
from our hungry heart and soul.
Reconsider!

My treasure
is something which can’t be bought.
It can only be shared
as a ray of Son
shining from my heart and soul
to yours.

A new week begins.
Sun is peeking behind clouds.
You are here with me.

The puddles are still near
though the flood waters have receded.
Yet, I am blissfully unaware.
The splendor of your love
so shines in my heart
and lifts my soul
that I am blinded to all else.
I see only blue skies
lit with sun so radiant
that like the birds of the air,
I soar to new heights,
all the while singing your praise.
The storm has passed
and the memory of it has gone;
leaving, in its wake
a new day,
a new life,
a new spirit within me.
I am rested.
I am reborn.
I am free.
