REFRESHING REIGN

A storm swept through

And took with it all the clutter

That held me back.

Now,

The clouds have parted

And in their wake,

The sun shines on a new day,

A new start,

A burst of joy

Filling my heart

As I notice a new bud

Pressing through the newly nourished field.
