Still Loving Thy Neighbors?
Used to be when new folks came to our neighborhood we welcomed them, made friends, greeted them with homemade bread or a meal . . . we all got along and lasting, valued relationships were created.

MOST OF US go to the Lord in prayer only for big things and wonder why we become stressed. He wants to be in relationship with us, His children! DO NOT SUFFER IN SILENCE! REACH OUT TO HIM!
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. -Isaiah 41:10
Memories are not always heartbreakers. There will come a time when tears become joy as the love is still in our hearts. As I wrote something on a different time in my life, though I miss people, places, and things from back then, I also feel the joy and love that I felt then and still can feel IT.. At this moment my feet are cold because this artist feels the snow that had fallen . . and the glow of evening’s moonlight. I can see Mom’s smiling face watching me through the window and can recall her scurrying off to bed so I would not know she watched. She didn’t want to upset me. Silly Mama! IT NEVER DID!
This image was taken by me in the home I used to live in. Winter was steadily providing snow and I was stronger then and loved to go out in the middle of the night to shovel as I was a banker then and needed to get to my office. The moonlight reflected on the new fallen snow glowed so my yard lookedlike midday. There were always neighbors out doing the saame thing as me. We often had PJs on with storm wear. I can still feel the warmth of those times in my life!
Though it’s still winter,
with you always in my heart
i celebrate spring!

It is too easy for us to find reasons to face faults in our world but this only makes things worse. Our Lord is close to us always and despite our fears and confusion, He’s got this! Trust and give praise and your heart will be renewed, and faith will replace fear!
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 ESV
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
James 1:5 ESV
She stood in the corner alone and sad
and looking at the crowd, she wished she could join them
but did not.
People asked the band. . . .
“Oh, please play this!”
Still, she stayed in her corner thinking
“I don’t like this music!”
Did it NOT occur to her
to ask,
to seek,
to knock?

[ Ask, and It Will Be Given ] “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
