REMINDER AND AN AMEN!

WE DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY ENOUGH!

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’Matthew 22:37-39

 

HOPE FOR SATURDAY . . .

. . . And always!

OPEN YOUR HEART!

I remember a company I worked for and was blessed to do so for many years.  BUT On rainy, gloomy days it seemed as if when one wore black and came in grumpy, soon the entire office was disagreeable and it was doubtful many were aware of this, nor had a good reason why. What a change a slight bit of effort to bless one another surely would have made!

If we know the truth of the following words and that they apply to each of us created in His image, AS WE ARE, why must the hate continue to defeat love? Where is peace?

14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well. -Psalm 139:14

 

OH, MY SOUL!

HOW BIG IS HIS LOVE

When I was a child I never hesitated to run to my Daddy when I needed him, whether I had skinned my knee,was scared by a bug,you name it. I never stopped to wonder if I was a good enough girl, was my problem big enough … I knew his love was more than big enough no matter what I did or didn’t do.  GOD WANTS US TO RUN INTO HIS ARMS THAT SAME WAY!

 

HERE COMES THE SUN!

As I rolled over

preparing for the new day,

and also avoiding it . ..

I got up anyway.

Deep breaths . . .

surrender . . .

but I MUST . ..

What if . . .

I stepped out on the back porch.

The birds sang so beautifully

without any consideration

for the grey sky

or cold February wind.

Suddenly,

I took no notice either!

The Master artist,

looking at all my broken pieces,

DID’T see the mess

reflected in my mirror!

He saw His own likeness

and all at once I did as well,

and I shall follow Him always!

The path,

this sacred journey,
