There is an argument about whether one person’s insulted over $1,000 because another received $1,000,000. As I considered how HUGELY I’d appreciate 1,000 or 100.00 . . . When the garden is filled with weeds
Yet one stubborn flower
Finds the strength to grow,
Am I to frown
Because it is the only one?
Is it not a very welcomed blessing?
Surely its beauty
Nourishes my hungry soul
Giving me the strength
To tackle the overgrowth
Of opposition
Not unlike the single
Blooming rose
Basking in the midst
Of thorns;
Hope
Of a coming new season!
