ARE YOU A FLOWER?

Attitude of Gratitude

 

 

Little flower,

petals swaying in the breeze,

bows her  head

as rain comes.

Then she looks to the sun

in joyful thanks!

As The Storm Passes By

They say the storm’s not over yet

with damage yet to come,

but here I stand and offer thanks

for the bird singing outside my window.

Healing has begun!
